The Mental Health Support Fund

Although it is easy to become overwhelmed with the obstacles that we face today, it is so important that we do all we can to protect the valuable resources that we have in our country. One of those resources is the Department of Psychiatry at the AUB Medical Center (AUBMC) chaired by Dr. Fadi Maalouf.

We are asking for your support for the Mental Health Support Fund that assists individuals from underprivileged backgrounds seeking appropriate help for their mental health. One in every four individuals suffers from mental health illnesses – often in silence because of the stigma that is still associated with mental health.

Donations of any amount to the Mental Health Support Fund are welcome – and will make a profound difference. Here are just some of the many initiatives that your donation will support:

  1. Diagnostic assessments
  2. Specialized procedures (ECT, TMS , Ketamine)
  3. TOP-ED Program
  4. Psycho-Oncology Program
  5. PHP
