AUB Women Centennial Fund
There have been women nursing students at the Syrian Protestant College (as AUB was known until 1920), since 1905. It was in fall 1921, however, that AUB began to admit women students to its professional schools (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry) and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
On the occasion of this milestone event in AUB history, we are launching the AUB4Women Campaign to establish new, and encourage additional support for existing, endowed and current scholarship funds that benefit women students at AUB. We are also soliciting gifts of any amount to the AUB Women Centennial Fund . Proceeds from this endowed fund will provide scholarships to women students at AUB.
